Trial Lessons

Minimum age for flying is 14 years

We now offer four types of trial lessons in two different aircraft:

1. Henley-onThames 30 minutes @ £85.00 - You will be given a full safety and ground briefing on the aircraft and approx 25-30 minutes flying where you will be able to ‘take Control’ of the aircraft.
   
2. Avebury stone Circles 60 minutes @ £155.00 - An ideal way to find out what is involved in a full training lesson before you make that first step to becoming Pilot. remember, if you decide to train with us all trial lesson counts towards you licence.
3. Oxford Spires & River Thames @ £155.00- Fly form Chiltern Air Park along the River Thames From Goring to Oxford and back, See this world famous university town from a new prospective, and don't forget your camera. Flight time approx 1hr 20m.
4. Fly away special Isle of Wight @ £295.00 - You will be flying for at least 1.5 hours and make one outlanding at Sandown or Bembridge Airfield on the Isle of Wight. (don't forget to but that stick of rock) just to prove to you friends where you have been. This a great way to enjoy what flying is all about and see some exceptional scenary on the way. including Portsmouths famous Spinaker tower. on your return leg, weather and time permitting, you will fly around the Island via the Needles lighthouse then back to Chiltern Air Park via the New Forest and watership Down.

Training Part 1

Standard training rate per one hour = £135.00

• 6 hours introductory flying training (£125.00 per hour)   = £750.00
• (Shareholders rate  £95.00 per hour @ £570.00)
• Ground School part 1 = £645.00 Including:
  First brief, on (procedures, exercises 1 & 2 ) plus ground school on Air Law and Human Performances, books, maps, knee board, manuals, syllabus
• Student club membership £65.00 .

Total cost:  £1460.00      

Training Part 2

Having completed training part 1, you are then invited to either:

1. Continue training at the standard hourly rate of £135.00 and purchase Ground School part 2 = £475.00 - which includes navigation, meteorology & technical.
2. Purchase a further 6 hours taining @ £125.00 per hour & Ground School part 2 @ £475.00 - which includes navigation, meteorlogy & technical.

Total cost: £1225.00

Full 25 hour training package £4250.00

Save over £750.00 on your training, buy a share in a C42 and we will give you 15 hours free flying once you have your Licence. this offer is for a limited period.
