London Parachute School Move In, And its Official !!!
Following succesful meetings today (16th) with the CAA, National Air Traffic Service and the Director of Airspace Policy, its official and all approvals have been issued.
We would all like to welcome The London parachute School (LPS) to Chiltern Park.
As of 3rd September the school will operate mainly at weekends from March to October each year.
Last year the LPS raised over £750,000.00 for a number of charities, WOW !
All are welcome to come along and watch.
Due to the draconian measures by our local council and their attempts to close Chiltern Park, ALL visiting pilots please note; UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY All 'recreational aircraft' are to use Runway 04/22 420M.
There will be no physical changes other than the Black & White markers to denote the usable runway and white crosses to denote closed runways.
All other runways are for emegency landings or restricted to 28 days use per year.
All 'recreational aircraft' must park under the tree line at the northern end near the windsock opposite Glebe Cottage.
Those who do not adhere to the above may be in breach of enforcement and subject to a £1000.00 fine by the local council.
Please also look at the NOTAMS from 3rd September Parachuting may take place at weekends.
